Reviews
This hotel isn't for people who want to spend all their holiday in the hotel, there isn't any night entertainment or really any night time atmosphere but the rooms are great, service is fantastic with the staff trying to stop you from actually doing anything other than relaxing and the location is great with the hotel having it's own section on the beach with beds.
Other reviews have moaned about the Irish bar or busy street but once the doors are closed (which they have to be for air-con to kick in) you can't here any noise really.
Excellent stay at this hotel, staff and service are all excellent, room and hotel itself are well maintained and comfy. Food was exceptional, maybe would prefer a little more Turkish dishes rather than British menu. Drinks sevice was …
We had a good experience at ADA JULIAN overall. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional, the room was cleaned to a good standard and the food was decent (except for the meat, they can’t seem to cook chicken or turkey properly, always comes out dry).
In terms of the desserts, the oven baked cheesecake and the baklavas are divine.
Spa facilities are excellent.
The hotel is located right next to the beach. Unfortunately it has a trashy Irish bar right opposite that plays horrendous music well into the night, so if your room is facing that way, you won’t be able to go to sleep earlier than 1am. Which brings me to my next point…
… some of the clients this hotel seems to attract are the absolute worst. Druggies who trash hotel rooms, sing loudly at 3am, bump into furniture and argue with their partners until the early hours of the morning. Serves us right for choosing Marmaris, I guess. There is a neighbouring little cove called Turunç which seems like a much better option if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday.
This was a very cheap all-inclusive deal for us, so none of the downsides were bad enough to impact our experience. If you want a cheap, sunshine getaway, in a hotel with polite and attentive staff, it’s great - just don’t expect 5* cuisine or to get to sleep before 1am. If that’s what you need, you probably shouldn’t be looking at Marmaris.
Great hotel
Location is great, your a minute walk away from the beach, shops, bars and restaurants!
Very good staff, so friendly and helpful
Sammy from bar staff is great, so friendly he made our holiday extra special, going out of his way to bring drinks to us etc
The drink selection is spot on, plenty of choice with all sorts of cocktails etc, recommend the Ada special
The food is generally good for an all inclusive
There’s sun-loungers and a nice cold pool, in a perfect spot with the sun shining on them from 9am-4pm
There is no entertainment at night but we tend to get a few drinks from the hotel then head on out to the bars, plenty entertainment there
I recommend getting a wifi box from ben at Hek Tour, a 2 min walk away
Sunbed wars...its real. There are not enough sunbeds to how many people stay. So many people leave towels first thing and are not seen to way past lunch. Most people clear off about 4pm/5pm, so it's much quieter around the pool then and you can get a sunbed if you didn't manage to get one early on, but by that point the sun is going round so over half of the beds are in the shade.
If you're short like me, the pool was just a tad too deep. There is no shallow side. Some of the days, the pool was cloudy and dirty with white bits floating around. I saw maybe the pool got checked twice in the 2 weeks I saw there.
Bizarre ice cream service, first week we went you could only get ice cream for 30 mins, which you queued ages for and if they ran out of flavours they simply didn't replace until days after. They increased the time to a whopping 1hr in our second week.
The serving staff were probably only the positives of the place, and the reception staff almost never understood anything and was unhelpful.
Rooms are standard, nothing special. It was clean, cleaned, and tidied when we did get housekeeping in. Housekeeping always forgot to give additional toilet roll, so we constantly had to ring down for it. If you're on the 5th floor like us, don't expect any running water or good pressure at times. They don't have irons, so make sure you iron everything and bring crease releaser.
Food on offered tailored to brits who have no taste for culture, so sorely disappointed. Didn't go to Turkey for a Sunday roast. Desserts were disappointing, so I barely had any, which was good for my waistline. We've been to many places, eaten many different foods, this was the first time we've faced stomach issues from the food, it wasn't severe but it did ruin a day or 2 of the holiday. Got sick of the drinks by week 2, and the offering was a small selection.
Pool bar snacks only available for 2 hours and was an alright offering.
No entertainment, just music on loop.
Not enough tables and chairs for the evening in the lobby bar, the pool bar was closed in the evening.
It was nice to be in an adults only hotel, but it's a shame people there acted like children and were quite inconsiderate to other guests.
The spa services was good but its a separate business to the hotel I gathered. Good Turkish bath spa and packages.
They also have a rep from a nearby jewellers who was helpful in giving information.
Supposedly, a 4-star hotel. It's 2-3 stars at best. I've stayed at 3 stars, and they were 150% better.
Seemed like some people got a bargain for this place but we paid a lot for 2 weeks, wished we had gone elsewhere in the area.
Great food, great location and great service.
If you're looking for a lively hotel with lots of entertainment, this isn't the hotel for you but it's clean with a chilled atmosphere and the staff are worth their weight in gold.
Had an amazing holiday here. Food is standard all inclusive, great location!
Jasmine the receptionist was immaculate at her job !!
We will definitely be back here !
hotel, staff, location, food all superb, cant fault it,near beach, fabulous hairdresser, spa, turkish bath all in hotel, perfect for great getaway, adult only, sun beds not an issue plenty to go around, still here for a few more days
